2015 Toyota 86 GT86 Tire Pressure TPMS Warning Light Reset – The Toyota 86 and Subaru BRZ are two sporty versions of the car 2 + 2 jointly developed by Toyota and Subaru, and produced at Subaru plant in Ota, Japan in 2012. The North American market the Toyota 86 is marketed under the brand Scion (Toyota owned brand), as Scion FR-S. The car was chosen as Car of the Year 2012 by the TopGear magazine. After a first agreement with Toyota for the joint production of a sports car, the Subaru retraced his steps since it does not accept the production of a rear wheel drive coupe, given that the cars of the latter were traditionally wheel drive.

If you replaced a wheel, tire, TPMS sensor etc. and are now getting a warning light on your car, then the sensor need to be reset. To reset the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light on your 2015 2016 2017 Toyota 86 GT86, follow these steps:

  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off and engage the parking brake.
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Turn the engine switch to the “ON” position
  • Locate and press the tire pressure warning reset button until the tire pressure warning light blinks 3 times.
  • Wait for a few minutes with the engine switch in the “ON” position
  • Finally turn the engine switch to the “ACC” or “LOCK” position.
