At launch, it was sold in the fitting S, SE, and SE. The engine door was a 2.3 cc Duratec 161 hp, accompanied by a manual or 5-speed automatic, while the SE and SEL models were available 3.0 cc V6 Duratec 224 hp with 6-speed automatic transmission. The first series share some components with the Ford Mondeo, such as the seats and center console. The slogan of the Fusion in the US was “Life in Drive”, while in Canada it was “Create a Reaction”.

  1. My 2010 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0 does not have the switch in this location, and my car cranks but does not start. I’ve replaced the fuel pump already.
