If you receive a low-tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light while driving and you want to clear or turning off the warning light on your 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 A6 & S6, follow these instructions:

  • Make sure the vehicle is at a complete stop
  • Turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Turn the ignition to ON position without starting the engine.
  •  Use the RESET button on end of wiper lever to enter to the DISPLAY TYPE menu
  • Scroll up and select SET
  • Scroll down and select TYRE PRESSURE
  • Select STORE and confirm it

Reset with MMI

If your vehicle is equipped with the MMI, You can also reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) warning light via the MMI screen by the following instructions:

  • Stop the vehicle in a safe place and turn the engine switch off
  • Adjust the tire inflation pressure recommended on the tire placard located on the door panel.
  • Turn the ignition to ON position without starting the engine.
  • Press the CAR button
  • Scroll down and select TYRE PRESSURE MONITORING
  • Select STORE or RESET and confirm it
